• S.G.R.S. is a private non-profit organization that has been serving our local community for 36 years
   
• S.G.R.S. services the southern half of Garrett County, Maryland and assists neighboring counties in West Virginia: Preston, Mineral, Grant and Tucker counties.
   
• We respond to an average of 1500 calls per year
• There are currently 70 members consisting of EMTs, medics, paramedics and driver volunteers
   
• Currently staffing 24 auxiliary members that assist with special events and fundraising

Southern Garrett County Rescue Squad dedicates its efforts to saving lives, delivering high quality emergency services and providing community education and safety. The Southern Garrett County Rescue Squad actively participates in our community, serves as a role model, and strives to utilize all available resources at our command to provide a service deemed excellent by our community and our members.
